SAIT has partnered with ODEM to secure your graduate diplomas and certificates on the blockchain.
Click the link in the “Download your digital credential” email to log onto ODEM.
Follow the steps to create a password, then log onto ODEM with your SAIT-approved email address.
I- Download the MyEtherWallet (MEW) wallet – Ethereum wallet app from the App Store or Google Play.
II- Follow the in-app instructions to set up your account and create a wallet.
III- Click on the down arrow to see your wallet public address.
IV- Click “Copy” to copy now, or “Share” to send the ID to yourself for later.
V- Paste the ID into your ODEM account on the next step.

I- Log onto ODEM, click on “Account” in the top right menu then on “Completed Programs.” Your SAIT program will be listed.
II- Click on your program then select “Claim Certificate.” In the “Wallet Address” pop-up, paste the MEW wallet address you copied in the previous step and click save.
III- Click on “Claim Certificate” again. In the “Generate Certificate” pop-up, choose a secure password and click save. Keep this password safe, you will need it each time you want to access your credential in the future.
On the program page of your ODEM account, click on the “Download Certificate” button or the “View on blockchain” button to access your credential.

MyEtherWallet, or MEW, is a free, client-side bridge that helps you interact with the Ethereum blockchain. You need to have a cryptocurrency (or Blockchain) wallet so ODEM can use the blockchain technology to give you secure access to your official educational documents such as a diploma or course completion certificate. Any further programs you complete via ODEM will be added to your blockchain wallet as proof of your skill sets.
Recommended by veterans of the industry, MyEtherWallet is compatible with Trezor wallets, Ledger wallets, and MetaMask. MyEtherWallet also allows users to download and print their wallets, creating paper versions.

3. Once you’ve created a wallet, click on the down arrow to find your public address. This is your wallet address that you need to link with your ODEM account. Click on “Copy” to copy it immediately, or click “Share” to send it to yourself for later use.

No. Your credential is stored in the blockchain to protect the authenticity of your credential now and in the future. Your credential contains a unique tamper-proof digital identifier which corresponds to SAIT’s electronic signature, thus verifying it’s authenticity. You can only access it via your ODEM account with your unique password. If you have any issues gaining access to your credential, please contact our support team.
When creating a MEW wallet, make sure that you download the official MEW wallet – Ethereum wallet app. If you already own an existing Ethereum wallet, we do not recommend connecting it to your ODEM account. Please create a new wallet specifically for your digital credential.
On the ODEM platform, set a strong password to access your credential on the blockchain.
Important! Keep your password safe. You will need it whenever you want to access your credential in the future. Once set, it cannot be changed and ODEM is unable to retrieve it for you.
